Peoria neighborhoods run north from older areas in the south to newer communities such as Vistancia in the north. Lake Pleasant Regional Park sits at the city’s northern end, and the Peoria Sports Complex hosts spring training.
Loop 101 and Loop 303 are the main freeways, connecting Peoria to the rest of the West Valley and toward Phoenix.

The choice inside Peoria often comes down to north or south. North Peoria has the newer master-planned communities, such as Vistancia, Loop 303 access and Lake Pleasant Regional Park close by. South Peoria has older neighborhoods, more mature landscaping and quicker access to Loop 101 and the rest of the West Valley.
