The Valerie Moe Difference
My approach to real estate is built on one simple belief: buying or selling a home should be an informed, confident experience, never one filled with uncertainty.
Serving Scottsdale, Cave Creek, Anthem, and surrounding communities, I provide exceptional, personalized service backed by a clear strategy, honest communication, and the experience to help you make smart, well-informed decisions. You'll always know where you stand, what to expect, and why it matters. And I'll tell you the truth, even when it's not necessarily what you want to hear.
Integrity, professionalism, accountability, and respect aren't just values I talk about. They're the standards I bring to every relationship, every negotiation, and every decision, especially when challenges arise.
Exceptional Homes. Exceptional Representation.
Why this works
Marketing is the part most agents skip
Listing a home puts it on the MLS and waits for someone else to bring a buyer. That is where most of the business stops. The homes that sell for more are the ones that get shown to the right people, in the right places, before the sign ever goes up.

How buyers actually find you
Relevancy, recency, proximity
Three things decide whether marketing reaches the person who is actually ready to move. Every page on this site is built to hit all three at once, which is why there is a page for each neighborhood and each situation instead of one page trying to cover everything.
- Relevancy
- Written for one situation at a time. A first-time buyer and someone settling a parent's estate are not the same person and should not read the same page.
- Recency
- Kept current. Market conditions from eighteen months ago are not information, they are decoration.
- Proximity
- Close to home. I work in Scottsdale, Cave Creek and Anthem, one neighborhood at a time. What a home is worth depends on its street, not on a county average, so that is where I look.
Position. Impact. Conversion.
The E.P.I.C. framework
Four pillars on every home we take. Not a checklist of things agents are supposed to do, an argument for why your home ends up being the obvious choice on the market.
Equity
Not a CMA. Where you actually stand in the data market, the negotiation market, and the buyer's mind, so you are leading the market instead of reacting to it.
Presentation
Perception creates value, so we control the narrative. Photography, video and copy engineered before anything goes public, for a buyer deciding with their thumb.
Impact
We do not just market, we dominate. Targeted campaigns that put your home in front of thousands who were not searching yet, instead of hoping the MLS does the work.
Campaign
You do not list a home, you launch it. Pre-launch buzz, a timed calendar, and offer sequencing, because the first week is the week you never get back.
Buying instead?
The R.E.A.L. framework
Most agents start by showing you houses. We start by getting you ready to win one, because the buyer who gets the good house is almost never the one who saw it first.
Ready
Pre-approved and represented before we tour anything, so you can act the day the right one appears instead of scrambling.
Educated
What your money actually buys here, honestly, before you fall in love with something out of range.
Aligned
Fewer homes, and better ones. We build the search on your real criteria and give you an honest verdict on each one.
Locked
Offer strategy, inspections, financing, and closing, all handled so the ending is boring.
The situation you are actually in
Different circumstances, different plans
The fundamentals do not change. The sequence, the timing and how much coordination it takes change completely. Start where you actually are.

How Do I Buy A House In North Scottsdale If I'm Relocating From Out Of State?
What actually happens, step by step, when you buy a home in North Scottsdale from out of state, and what relocation buyers get wrong.
A Scottsdale real estate agent who has seen your situation before
I’m Valerie Moe, a Scottsdale real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty Sonoran Living. For twenty years I’ve represented buyers and sellers through significant moves, including home sales up to $20 million in Beverly Hills and the Coachella Valley before I brought that experience to Arizona’s Sonoran Desert.
Most of my clients aren’t buying their first home. They’re moving up, downsizing, relocating for work or retirement, or selling a property they’ve put years into. They don’t need to be handled like beginners. They need someone who has done this many times, explains what she sees, and stays present after the contract is signed.
My approach is simple: listen carefully, communicate clearly, pay attention to the details, and represent your interests as though they were my own.
Let’s talk about your move
Scottsdale, Cave Creek, Anthem and the communities around them
I work across three distinct parts of the North Valley, and each one buys and sells differently.
Scottsdale real estate covers golf and guard-gated communities in the north, older neighborhoods to the south, and everything between. I work in Silverleaf, DC Ranch, Desert Mountain, Troon North, Estancia, Whisper Rock, Grayhawk, Scottsdale Mountain and McDowell Mountain Ranch.
Cave Creek homes range from acreage with room to breathe to master-planned golf communities. I serve Rancho Mañana, Lone Mountain, Sonoran Trails, Dove Valley Ranch and Tatum Ranch.
Anthem homes sit along the I-17 corridor north of Phoenix, including Anthem Country Club, Circle Mountain Ranch and Anthem West.
I also help clients in North Phoenix, Peoria and Buckeye. My office is Keller Williams Realty Sonoran Living in Scottsdale.
Homes that sell well are marketed, not simply listed
A buyer usually meets your home on a screen long before they walk through the front door. That first impression shapes what they believe the home is worth, so I plan it before anything goes public.
Every listing starts with preparation: a walk-through to decide which repairs are worth making and which aren’t, a documented pricing rationale you can understand, and a calendar so photography happens after the home is ready, not before.
From there, your home can get professional photography, video and drone footage, targeted social media campaigns, open houses when they make sense, and short videos I create myself so buyers see the home and the person representing it. My Seller Blue-Print lays out each step, from preparation through closing.
If you’re buying, the work runs the other way. We get your financing and representation ready first, learn what your budget really buys, and focus on fewer homes and better ones. How buying works with me covers it in full.
What clients can count on from me
Experience shows up in the hard moments, so here are two from my own work.
In one purchase, the sellers were stubborn, the listing agent was new, and after five weeks of back-and-forth the deal was close to cancelling. I sent one email that laid out the math and what the market was showing. The two sides reached an agreement, mostly in my buyers’ favor, and the home closed two days later.
Early in my career, a cleaning promised before closing was never done. I made it right for my buyers, and I changed how I work. Now I confirm promises directly with the person doing the work, early in escrow, so they’re done before you arrive at the closing table.
Those two habits, staying calm with the numbers and verifying rather than assuming, are what I bring to every transaction. You shouldn’t have to chase your own agent for an update. You’ll hear from me before you have to ask.
Start here, whether you’re buying or selling
If you’re selling, the first step is a conversation about your goals, your timing and where you’re going next. If you’re buying, it’s a conversation about what you want and what your budget buys in the communities you’re considering.
Either way, the first conversation costs you nothing, and you’ll leave with a clearer plan. Contact me, or call or text (760) 799-4086. You can also browse my current listings.
Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. We plan both sides together from the start, so the timing of the sale and the purchase works for you and you avoid unnecessary gaps between homes or carrying two payments longer than needed.
