Downsizing in Scottsdale, at your pace
Downsizing in Scottsdale usually means selling a home you’ve lived in for years and choosing a smaller one that fits the way you live now. Many of my clients want to stay close to what they know: the same part of Scottsdale, the same shops and doctors, the same routines.
The move itself is what feels overwhelming. That’s the part I help with most.

Why Scottsdale downsizers work with me
I’m Valerie Moe, with Keller Williams Realty Sonoran Living. I give regular updates in plain language and plan the move around your schedule, not mine. Twenty years of experience means I’ve seen the decisions you’re facing, and I can help you make them one at a time.
How a Scottsdale downsizing move works
- Picture the next home. A townhome, a single-level home, a lock-and-leave home you can close up when you travel.
- See your numbers. Equity and a realistic net sheet before you commit.
- Prepare without overspending. Only the repairs buyers will notice. See preparing a home for market.
- Sale and purchase in order. Planned together, so you move once.
Scottsdale options for less house
Scottsdale has more smaller-home options than people expect. DC Ranch has condos and townhomes starting around $465,000, based on my recent market review, with Market Street’s shopping and dining inside the community. Scottsdale Mountain includes townhomes behind a guard gate, close to Mayo Clinic’s Scottsdale campus. Older neighborhoods in the south put Old Town close at hand. Prices shift over time.
